Maurice Bellotti is an Italian live music promoter, booking agent, festival producer and musician based in Bolzano, South Tyrol.
In 2003 he founded Poison For Souls, an independent concert promotion agency born from a passion for live music and the desire to bring international artists to Northern Italy while supporting the local independent scene. What started as a DIY project has grown into a long-term commitment to concert promotion, artist booking, tour management and festival production across Italy and Europe.
Over the years, Maurice has collaborated with internationally recognised artists, independent bands, record labels, venues and cultural organisations, gaining extensive experience in every aspect of live music production. His work has always been driven by the belief that professionalism, trust and long-term relationships are the foundation of every successful project, regardless of its size.
Alongside Poison For Souls, Maurice has been involved in several international music projects. He collaborated with Heavy Psych Sounds on European booking, coordinates the South Tyrol activities of Uploadsounds, the Euregio platform supporting emerging musicians, and serves as Artistic Director of Dunajam.
Beyond his work behind the scenes, Maurice is also an active musician. As the drummer of hijss and Deadsmoke, he combines the perspective of a performer with that of a promoter, helping him better understand the needs of artists, venues and audiences alike.
More than twenty years after founding Poison For Souls, Maurice continues to develop new projects, promote independent music and create opportunities for artists across Europe. His goal remains the same as it was in 2003: supporting live music with passion, integrity and a genuine commitment to the people behind it.
